Ty Pinkins was born in Rolling Fork, Mississippi. Pinkins served in the U.S. Army from 1996 to 2017.[1] He earned a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of Maryland Global Campus in 2012, a juris doctor from Georgetown University in 2020, and a master’s degree in national security law from Georgetown University in 2021. Pinkins’ career experience includes owning a business and working as an attorney with the Mississippi Center for Justice and a presidential communications aide with the White House Communications Agency.
